No Spaghetti Edition is a large scale improvising music ensemble based in Norway. Since the start in 1998 NSE has co-operated with and presented many of the leading European improvisers in different versions of the ensemble. Guest improvisers on cd`s and tours include Derek Bailey, Xavier Charles, Thomas Lehn, Phil Minton, Susie Ibarra, Evan Parker, Martin Tétreault + many more.

Ivar Grydeland, Tonny Kluften and Ingar Zach are the core members and founders of No Spaghetti Edition. The idea of No Spaghetti Edition is to gather fine musicians from the great field of improvisation, to explore different esthetical approaches in music and to create new music as a collective.

In addition to touring and recording, No Spaghetti Edition produces the No Spaghetti Edition festival, a festival of music and related sounds, an annual event moving across the globe, 2004 in Barcelona, 2005 in Buenos Aires, 2006 in Norway.
